Not to often do young ladies have the opportunity to play with other young ladies, in a game you love, from over 7000 miles and oceans away. I was able to witness and capture this amazing experience. The hard work and dedication these young women showed during the game was phenomenal. Great sportsmanship was shown during and after the game. Regardless of the outcome of the game both teams were winners. I hope this experience will last with the girls forever and pictures to accompany them as well.

The NorcoFest is put on by two high school friends who wanted to catch up with old and new friends to enjoy each other and rock out to awesome bands and music. A reunion of friends that would otherwise not cross paths. Reminiscing on the memories each other shared with one another is a lovely thing to watch. A place for young and old to come together and share laughs is what the NorcoFest has become.
It's always a pleasure to be able to enjoy friends and families company. Having the pleasure to be able to capture these special moments shared among friends and family. I hope everyone enjoys the photos and look forward to seeing everyone out for the next NorcoFest. Remember to enjoy your loved ones and friends and create lasting memories. Until we create lasting memories again, stay blessed. Larissa It's a beautiful thing to be able to capture love and family at it's warmest time, a wedding reception. Seeing family reminisce with loved ones and laugh. Enjoying ones company celebrating the union of two becoming one is such a beautiful thing to witness and share.
In trying to get my business off the ground, I have had to learn patience. Wanting more clients and to be where further, impatience can overtake you. What I have been fortunate to learn is not everything is suppose to happen when we (I) want it to or think it should. Growing at the pace of a snail has been very frustrating. Through this time I have had to rethink my priorities and goals for my business, which I have came to the realization that I would rather have patience for clients and jobs to allow me to take my time in my craft rateer than have so many I am always rushing. Taking my time to create the best memory for my client is what is about for me. I know one day I will reach my goal of more clients than I know what to handle, but for know I am thankful for the clients I do have and can enjoy creating thier memories for now. The race doesn't go to the swiftest but the one who endures the most.
So many days after a long day I wish I could pick up my camera and just take pics of everything, but reality brings me back down and other things have to be done. I wish I had more hours in a day for my passion, not neccessarily all the not so enjoyable things. I have to learn how to take time out for myself and my dreams. How does everyone else balance with life or is there no such thing as balance?
Another season has come and gone again. Through the season we had a lot of great memories and games. In being able to capture the season through my lens, I was able to preserve the hard work and dedication our boys put into the season along with great photos. No matter the outcome as long as you put forward 100%, which they did, is all that matters. It amazes me at such a tender age the committement these boys have for the sport and to master their craft. I am already looking forward to next season, but for now I have the memories to enjoy until then. Enjoy the tidbits of this season!
Recently I lost a dearly loved family member. After feeling sad, I opened up my laptop and started going through pictures of my loved one and reminiscing about the good times and special moments I was able to capture. Looking back on the pictures I remember the laughs and conversations we shared through the paper. It made me truly understand the magnitude of why I love and have such a passion for capturing priceless moments and memories in time. Don't wait until it's to late to say I wish I would have gotten a picture with that loved one. Whether it be professional pictures or you snap a picture with your phone preserve your lasting memories!!!
In today's crazy society it is even more important to keep our youth involved in positive activities. One exciting sport to watch for myself is Youth Football, even more exciting to shoot it. What youth involvement in sports, or any extra curricular activities, helps with building and instilling values in our future generation. Some of the lessons I feel help them through sports are: discipline, community, pride, friendships positive affirmation and brotherhood. In some youth organization kids have played side by side one another for many years. Not only does youth sports impact the youth participating, but for some it can start a blossoming friendship between two families, that might not otherwise happen. It also brings families together from different backgrounds. Here are some pictures from my communities youth football league.
How do you think youth sports (activities) have helped in your community? Larissa If I have done work for you in the past, please follow this link and review my work.
My love affair with capturing everything, began when I received my first camera at 13. My camera and I became inseperable from that point forward. The feeling I got from taking pictures of everyone and everything was indescribable, not to mention seeing your work being developed (yes I had to get film developed when I started) and having it in your hand. The only down side to film was being limited to 36 pictures per roll. I remember sitting back and looking at the pictures I took and a grin coming to my face of reminiscing about that particular moment in time and the memory I had. Whether going on family vacations or just day trips, with my camera in tote, capturing memories that will last forever is a priceless gift more people need to indulge in. Still to this day all the thousands of pictures I have taken the past 19 years, there is moments I should have taken more to preserve memories with loved ones that have passed. For me pictures not only are great to look at, they will be your memories that will live on forever (as long as there printed on quality paper).
